Principal's message

Dear students and families,

You should receive your child’s report today. I have had the privilege of reading and signing every report. It is so rewarding to find out about the progress each student has made over the year towards achieving their goals. Particularly pleasing is the honest reflection they have given on their self-written personal and academic goals.

The teachers spend a great deal of time assessing, reviewing and reporting on your child’s learning progress. We ask that you read the report carefully and share the information it contains with your child. It is very important that you and your family take the time to celebrate the success and achievements they have made over the year.

I would like to thank you all – students, staff, volunteers and parents – for the support you have given to our school over the past year. The connections we have forged amongst ourselves have ensured the school continues to grow and improve. We are now a school of choice for families who have a child with a disability. There is a strong respect for the work that we do to individualise learning for every student so that they may flourish.

Please come and join us for our final assembly tomorrow at 12:30pm and help your school community to celebrate the achievements of our students as we say farewell for the summer break.

Students start school in Term 1 next year on WEDNESDAY 30TH JANUARY.

Happy holidays to you and your family.

Sue
